York Gin's sustainability and environmental actions hit national media
York Gin's actions on sustainability and the environment have made it into the national media.
The Sun covered our attempts to become a champion for action on climate change.
Their report described our actions so far - using green energy, emission-free, electric vehicles, and buying local wherever possible.
One of our co-directors, Emma Godivala, is a passionate advocate for the positive action we can all take.
She says small businesses can take the lead and set an example for larger companies.
There's a video of Emma introducing the York Gin distillery, how to make gin and our 16th Century shop in the centre of York. Watch now

York Gin is now employing a sustainability consultant Sustainable Business Services to audit the business.
They will find every part of the business that can reduce its carbon emissions, and then advise us on the absolute best way to offset the remaining emissions that can't be removed from the process.
