York Gin shortlisted for Yorkshire Post and York Press awards

York Gin has been shortlisted for two sets of prestigious newspaper awards as we enter the final quarter of 2021.

The are:

- The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards (in the Young Business category)

and 

- The York Press Business Awards ( for Employer of the Year)

Winners of the Yorkshire Post awards will be announced at a glittering black tie ceremony on 17 November at Headingley Stadium.

Meanwhile, winners of the York Press awards will be announced on 25 November at a black tie event at York Racecourse.

York Gin co-founding director Emma Godivala said: 'We're delighted to reach the shortlists in both awards. The Yorkshire Post awards are a major deal - with huge competition to even get this far. And to be shortlisted in the Employer of the Year awards in York is a big thumbs up from our brilliant team.

"We feel like we're winners already."

York Gin has won a string of awards since it launched in March 2018. 

These include multiple gold medals at the world's top spirits competitions, including Gold Outstanding at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and England Gin Distillery of the Year at the New York International Spirits Competition.

Closer to home, York Gin has won Shop of the Year at the Visit York Tourism Awards and Yorkshire Brand of the Year at the Garbutt & Elliott Food & Drink Awards.
